BWTelcom has been serving several communities in southwest Nebraska since 1944. A lot of things in the telecommunications industry have changed over the years—and as a result, so have we.
Today, BWTelcom offers a wide range of telecommunications, Internet, cable television, and computer sales, support, and wiring services to keep you clearly connected to your community, to the world and, most importantly, to the ones you love.
It is our mission and earnest endeavor to provide to the citizens of our service areas a community of growth and betterment.
BWTelcom began as the Benkelman Telephone Company (BTC) in 1944. Founded by local entrepreneurs Jacob and Anna Raile, the company embarked on a long history of family ownership and a commitment to the communities of southwest Nebraska.
The name of the company and its leaders have changed over the years—passing from Jacob to his son Willard Raile, becoming BWTelcom in 1998, and functioning today under the leadership of Jacob’s grandson, Randall Raile. Yet some things remain the same: family ownership, hometown service, and community support.
